This instrument was built in 1964 by the dutch builder Flentrop and it has 4 keyboards and pedal. It would sound much better in an historical instrument with a different tunning and a different temperament. However I tried to recreate the ambient of the old iberian organ music, at this marvellous modern instrument.

"Glosas sobre El Canto Llano de La Immaculada Concepción" from Francisco Correa de Arauxo´s Facultad Organica at the historical organ of São Vicente de Fora Monastery in Lisbon, during the time I was the main organist for the church service there. This instrument was recently restaured by Claudio and Christine Rainolter. It is a marvellous example of an old iberian organ with 2 keyboards and almost 60 stops. You can make the comparation between this instrument and the other one from the Sé Patriarcal de Lisboa, where I played the same work, almost 12 years after.

A work by the great 17th century Spanish composer, Francisco Correa de Arauxo that employs the divided register. Spanish organs from this period frequently had stops that were divided between middle c and c#. The player then chooses stops for a solo - in this case the 4 Bajoncillo for the left hand - while the other hand plays the accompaniment.
