Hi there! :D Im back after some break during the summer time! Tons of things happened but to summarize I spend three awesome weeks on USA with some friends and when I got back I joined a band and played a live show! :D Cool! All right, this video is special for several reasons: Number 1: I want to thank my friend Michael and his friends (now my friends) for the hell of a nice time they gave me there during the 3 weeks (And for taking super good care of me, keeping my ass out of trouble and my belly full of good stuff! :p). This is for you guys! Thank you! Big hug. PS: I cant wait to have more "Car Bombs" with you guys! ;D Number 2: A lot of people asked me to do this cover of the new single from the brand new album of the Foo Fighters and I...well....I dont need any more reason! :D :D :D Long live the Foos! The new album is just plain awesome. I wanna see them live!!! Funny thing: "The Pretender" was one of the first songs I listened on the radio right just after getting out of the plane on my first tailgate party! :D :D :D Actually I never heard the song and after a few riffs I said...."Hey! This sounds like the Foos!:D" (That was on 5Th August) You will notice that Im a little more quiet than usual on this video; this is because I had some slightly badass headache and also I had to read my drum notes on top of my kick :D :P. But I really dig this song! (I needed the drum notes because I just bought the album this Friday 28th :D ;p) All right, I really hope you like ...

Hey! Good night! Well, this took a lot more than I expected, but finally is here! My own making off! :D Great! I hope all the answers you need are there. This is all I do to create a video for You Tube (yes, you!). Good night world! Yesterday I tried to cover the song "Get Up" by JL&The Licks, but after two hours of listening, studying and trying it, I wasnt able to fulfill a good cover of the song. "Get Up" is not a super complex song, but the huge amount of different fills makes the whole drum line hard to remember and play it perfectly. Ill continue studying the song and try to do a good cover of it next weekend. I had to go early but I didnt want to leave the drum kit without any video, after so many weeks without uploading anything, so I picked up an easy song. I also seek to achieve a couple of things: I always wanted to pay homage to Sigur Ros; one of the greatest bands I ever heard and introduce the band to the people who maybe dont know about them yet. Also I want to thank my friend "Spider-Pep" for telling me some years ago: "Hey, stay quiet and listen to this..." . Thanks bud. :) All right, dont expect big drum beats and crazy fills here, this is a perfect example of "sometimes less is better". Im still amazed of the power, beauty and immense energy this simple drum line has. (To my shame I miss the tempo a few times...LOL! :D) I really hope you like the song! I know this video shows only a guy hitting repetitively a drum kit , but after thinking about it... damn...at the doors of heaven while you wait to get in... some angels will play Sigur Ros for you!
