Homebrew windpower workshop in Washington USA 13-19 April 2009. A bit random since I was really more focussed on teaching than on shooting video. 3 turbines, 14, 10 and 6 feet in diameter. Rallysprint Ribamontan al Mar 2009 El frio no hizo mella en la gran cantidad de aficionados que se agolparon en las cunetas de Ribamontan, donde se vio una perfecta organizacion, tanto en montaje de tramos, (pacas, neumaticos, cintas, guarcia civil...), como en el horario, donde solo se vio un pequeño retraso a la hora de cambiar de sentido los tramos, pese a los muchisimos abandonos. Abandonos significativos, como los de Ruben Ivan Blanco, Torrontegui, Corona, Cabo o Alustiza entre otros, gente que de no haber sido por su abandono hubiera estado bien arriba, ya que este tramo tambien da juego a coches "pequeños". Rallye dominado con autoridad por Arronte, que dio un hachazo en el primer tramo, marcando las diferencias sobre este tramo como ya ha desmostrado otros años, y solo cediendo un scartch a San Emeterio, debido a que Arronte redujo su ritmo pasada a pasada. Un San Emeterio que se metio 2º en el podium aventajando en 6 segundos a un "fogoso" Barcena que ocupaba el tercer peldaño. No nos podemos olvidar del rapido y espectacular Carracedo y el gran rallye que hizo tanto Aquilino Sanchez como Jose Manuel Pazos con su saxo. Ultima prueba del regional de asfalto, que nos deja un gran sabor de boca, pese no haber tendio a los gallos, y que hace que las ganas de que comience la temporada 2010 crezcan. Second Season of the Camino Video Diaries, Part Four: From Laredo to Santillana del Mar (Camino de la Costa / Camino del Norte) In Güemes is one of the most famous pilgrim albergues on the Coast way: the "Cabaña del abuelo Peuto (hut of Granpa Peuto)", run by Ernesto Bustio. Different people from different countries come together at this place, and the travelling and photographing priest Don Ernesto who is a pilgrim by heart creates with his hospitality a special and unique atmosphere in which the community between the pilgrims becomes very concrete and obvious. And I want to say thank you for this! A friend of him, Luis Gabriel, has played on the guitar and sung, a little concert for the pilgrims before they have gone to bed. Wonderful moments, also because of the beautiful landscape between Laredo and Santander. this is a semi mild windy day on guemes island we have seen worse but the ferry seemed to be out of dock and they were brining it back. when the wind reaches a certain speed coming from a certain direction they take the ferry out of dock. a while back we had winds that were around 80-90mph and the ferry broke loose from dock and beached itself so they adopted a new policy to protect the ferry from breaking loose again.
