01:31 Minutosnorthern new mexico are going to sleep easier---knowing a double murder suspect is dead. the sheriff of rio arriba county says he found jody romeros body today in a cabin in truchas. tonight romeros father---and even the families of the murder victims--- are questioning the sheriff. eddie garcia joins us live in the newsroom with what they want to know. theyre really coming down on minute thumbnail 10:00 pm the sheriff who found the body late this afternoon. they tell us they believe he didnt do enough to find jody romero when he was alive - and that hes taking undue credit now that hes dead. sheriff tommy rodella announced today that he found the body of 35 year old jody romero in a cabin in truchas. it was just miles from where he was accused of killing 31 year old delphino de fernandez of truchas and 24 year old amanda romero of cordova last month. late this evening we spoke jody romeros father and the families of the two victims who say they found out about todays discovery - second hand and not from law enforcement. romeros father says he had been looking for his son since he disappeared. the victims families call jody romero a coward. i went this morning looking for him up in the mountains. ive been out there every single day looking for my son and i never found him and now they found him out here close to my house in a cabin up there but the sheriffs department - mr. rodella and all of his department have done nothing to help me find my son. minute ...
