Entry from: Koh Samui, Thailand Entry Title: "Koh Samui" Entry: "The trip to Samui was long and tiresome in extreme heat, a boat and taxi to trang, mini bus to surat thani then ferry to ko samui. It took most of the day but was helped along by meeting a few fellow travellers along the way, particulary a couple of friendly irish lads who we ended up meeting up with a few nights later at yep..you guessed it .. an irish pub (theyre everywhere!). We were staying at a place on the northern end of samuis most commercial beach, chaweng beach. There was maccas, burger king and starbucks and lots of shops. The beach was fantastic as there was some really good surf and another interesting and ingenious thing they had was ropes with buoys that went into the sea so if you got caught by a rip or current you could swim to the side and grab onto one and prevent being dragged out...wonder why we dont have them in oz. We managed to see a monkey show, a butterfly garden, and aquarium. The monkeys are amazing, you cant tell from the close up photo of the monkeys hand but these ones actually had 5 fingers just like us and they really are amazing creatures up close, watching them play and interact with one another was hauntingly human and we felt sorry for some of the ones in cages, especially when one reached out to ...

A quien se le ocurre ir al refugio en plena montaña, montado en una "desbrozadora", sabiendo lo mal que está el camino yendo por Villaverde xD. No me extraña que perdieras el tapacubos, rallaras la chapa y le hicieras alguna avería en los bajos.... ¡A la naturaleza hay que ir andando! Es más barato y además se hace deporte...
