Entry from: Llano del Beal, Spain Entry Title: "Post Christmas (Cabin Fever)" Entry: "So, having had enough Christmas pud and feeling a little "cabin fever" we decided to get in the camper van and go where ever the wind blew us. Following the coast road south our first stop was at San-Javier, a place we have previously passed through, indeed landed at many times but never stopped at. The town centre like most small towns in Spain centred around a pretty church in a square (Plazza.) The Nativity scene was very good and it was plain to see a lot of hard work and pride had gone into diplaying it by the towns folk. The day was quite strange, not many people about at all. Although it was not officially a public holiday in Spain as it in the UK most of the shops and businesses were closed the only people working seemed to be preparing for the New Year celebrations.We enjoyed a coffe at a local bar before taking a stroll through a Palm tree lined park with fountains. We then wandered through the narrow streets admiring the local architecture some of which reminded us of the Gaudi style buildings in Barcelona.... Moving along the coast through Los Alcazares and down to Punta Brava a small Village on the beautiful Mar Menor. We took a long walk along the Esplanade looking over to La-Manga while enjoying ...
