Rupit is a municipality in the province of Barcelona located northeast of the Osona and east of the Sierra de Cabrera. It has a population of 364 inhabitants. Located 98 kilometers from the city of Barcelona (northbound) and is the last village in the province on the road between the municipalities of Vic, capital of Osona and Olot, capital of the region of the Garrotxa (Girona ).
