Rare audio clip of the great Pablo Sarasate performing his piece Zigeunerweisen. Keep in mind that this was recorded around 1904, so the quality isnt perfect. Also, the slow movement was left out, probably due to time constraints.

After fire is a short video I made of a burnt forest after seeing it with my eyes for the first time. It shocked me. Its not the same to see it on the TV than to see it in person. Life is gone for now... but will come again, hopefully sooner than later. I wanted to express the sadness of the forest after the tragedy. The remains of little dead snails, the texture of burnt trunks and desolated ground. But ending at the same time with a positive image meaning that it is not the end but the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one. Filming, editing and original music by Héctor Corcín. Filmed in Navarra. North of Spain. August 2009. Licensed under creative commons. creativecommons.org
