The affectionate words of Benedict XVI closed an evening of musical memories, at the concert given by the "Regensburger Domspatzen" orchestra and choir in honor of his brother Msgr. Georg Ratzinger, maestro di cappella emeritus, apostolic protonotary, for the occasion of his 85th birthday. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozarts Great Mass in C minor resounded through the elevating ambiance of the Sistine Chapel, an expression, the Holy Father stressed, of the "profound search for the forgiveness and mercy of God ", which then turns to radiant joy in the existence of the Heavenly Father. The Holy Father shared many memories as he spoke out spontaneously in German, especially those of his brother leading the historical traditional choir.
