The Pritzker Architecture Prize is one of the fields top honors and Eduardo Souto de Moura of Portugal was selected for the 2011 award. The Porto-based architect was chosen for his consistent use of simple forms and his careful selection of building materials. Among Souto de Mouras most famous works are Braga football stadium and the Burgo Tower in Porto.

This is my try with this beautiful fiddle tune. I added a Mandolin part to it with my own arrangement. It was recorded with a 1999 Taylor 510, a brazilian "Do Souto" Mandolin (Solid rosewood back and sides and german spurce top). The recording was made with a Zoon H4n at 48khz, 24 bits. Since the first time I put my hands on it, I always use the awesome Red Bear Picks, in my humble opinion it´s the best pick ever made. I recorded with a Heavy E shape model for the Mandolin part and a X-Heavy C shape for the guitar. My special thanks to Monica and Dave from Red Bear Trading for their atention and kindness! I´ma fan of your great work!
