Palparan and Alcover taunts and threatens Tonchi Tinio
10:27 MinutosIn a presscon organized by ANAD partylist, Congressmen Palparan and Alcover demanded that the tortured and abducted fil-am activist Melissa Roxas be responsible for the unverified photos and videos that the 2 lawmakers received from an anonymous source. The pictures and videos allegedly show that Roxas is part of the New Peoples Army. In his rants and tirades, Palparan enumerates all the organizations which he believes are mere communist fronts. The Alliance of Concerned Teachers (ACT) was one of the orgs mentioned. Tonchi Tinio, National Chairperson of ACT was among the audience. Before the conference ended, Tinio introduced himself and questioned Palparans malicious labeling of the formers organization. The two lawmakers (Alcover and Palparan) ganged up on him, demanded that he denounce the communists right there and then as they shout and point an accusing finger at him. Tinio just kept his cool and even smiled at the camera twice (cute).
