Piornedo es una pequeña aldea perdida en la inmensidad de la sierra de Os Ancares, en Lugo, que destaca por conservar intacto un patrimonio etnográfico sin parangón. Se trata de un importante conjunto de "pallozas" o casitas circulares de piedra con cubierta de paja que estuvieron habitadas hasta bien entrados los años 80 del siglo XX.
