The Darden Leadership Speaker Series kicks off its 2009-10 series with Ralph de la Vega, President and CEO of AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets, architect of AT&Ts exclusivity deal with Apple, and author of an upcoming book, "Obstacles Welcome: Turn Adversity To Advantage in Business and Life". Ralph is interviewed on stage by Darden alumnus (86) Walt Shill, Managing Director, North America, Accenture. Ralphs story is an incredible one: as a 10 year old he immigrated without the rest of his family to the United States from Cuba, due to the political unrest of Cuba in the 60s. As his career progressed, he was BellSouths operations manager for North Dade County in South Florida when Hurricane Andrew struck Florida causing $30 billion in damage and destroying the entire BellSouth infrastructure. Later, he oversaw the merger of Cingular Wireless and AT&T Wireless, the largest all-cash merger ($41 billion) in US history. Come hear Ralph talk about these three and three other pivotal points in his life and how he turned these obstacles into advantage.

Prueba con algun que otro accidente, solventado perfetamente por la organizacion de la prueba, el unico retraso se debio al desllantar Fombona dos ruedas y tener la grua que subir a buscarle. Destacar la perfecta organizacion, pareciendo mas una prueba del europeo que un regional, controles de tiempo intermedios, muchos comisarios, gente bien colocada, recogida de basuras... En cuanto a lo deportivo, subida para el campeonisimo Vilariño, seguido del actual subcampeon de España Iñigo Matinez y detras un rapidisimo y valeroso Juan Carlos Fernandez Muchos "problemas" en carrozados, cuando todo el mundo apostaba o por Fombona o por Gomez,nos encontramos con que Gomez con un problema en el coche no toma salida en entrenamientos, aunque si en la primera manga oficial, pero vistosamente con problemas en su misil verde, en cuanto a Fombona en la primera curva de la primera pasada oficial tiene una ligera salida dando un golpecin a su coche, pierde tiempo pero consigue acabar la 1º manga oficial, no asi la segunda que tras haber superado la mayoria del trazado y estando bien cerca de meta, desyanta dos ruedas quedandose fuera de la prueba. Por lo tanto, y al ser valedero para la clasificacion final la suma de tiempos, el crono premiaria a los mas rapidos que no cometieron errores, llevandose el gato al agua Matador, seguido de España y Zubi.
